Zavier and Dad by the hangi. Matt came down to school at 4.00 o'clock this morning!
He helped get the fire going and dig the ashes out ready for irons and stones to go back in the pit. Next the food baskets went in, then the wet sacks and dirt. Soon we will watch the pit be opened and the food baskets will be taken out. We are excited about tasting the food from the hangi.
