Reflection

Today for maths we learnt about Reflection. In pairs we made patterns and our buddy had to show the reflection. 

Line of Symmetry

Yesterday we talked about the lines of symmetry we can draw on shapes. For some shapes we found more than one line of symmetry. We then made snowflakes that had two lines of symmetry. 

Kadence the Author

Kadence wrote a story at home about our cross country.  

She shared it with us.  Kadence drew lots of pictures.  

There were lovely flowers.  We loved her sharing with us.

Our Castle

We made a castle and it is cool.  We put 37 teddy bears on the wall in a line.  It was fun making it!

Daniel is our MVP for our learning value of co-operation.

Ms J, Principal of Stewart Island School

Ms J the Principal of Stewart Island School visited Team Kea.  

Ms J went to the Library with us and read us a story!  It was really cool to meet Ms J.  At Stewart Island School they have 24 children from 5 to 13 years old.  Ms J is a really good teacher.  Ms J told us Prince Harry visited her school.  Prince Harry's favourite food is spaghetti bolognaise. We saw a photo of Prince Harry with everyone at Stewart Island School.
