Piglets

Today Mrs Milne brought in two piglets to show us.  They are Jacqui's and the mother pig is called My Littlr Pony.  The piglets are one day old. 

New Entrant visitors

Mathematics today with our visitors making numberlines, counting, writing numbers and making sets of objects to match the number. 

Guinea Pigs

Mrs Milne brought in three pet guinea pigs to show us.  They eat fruit, vegetables, nuts and grass.  They are very cute.  They only have four teeth.  

Ronald McDonald House

The Student Councillors presented a donation of $194 to Ronald McDonald House at Southland Hospital.  The donations came from the compassion fundraiser which was a mufti day last term.  

Helen Walker manages the House and was very happy to receive our donation.  We had a tour of the beautiful facility.

Strawberries

Today we collected data about our favourite fruit.  

Strawberries were the most popular.  Archie had strawberries at fruit break.

London Buses

London is very busy with lots of people.  They need buses, taxis and lots of trains to travel around. The trains go fast and some are underground.  Paddington is one of the busy train stations.

Snakes Reading Group

Shake Out

Today we did Shake Out with everyone at school.  We learnt what to do if there is an earthquake.

First you move to a safe place like a desk and drop down under it.  We cover ourselves under the desk.  We make ourselves as small as possible and look down at the ground and hold onto the desk legs.  We stay there until the teacher says it's all clear.

The Bus

Today I went on the bus.  I am going home from school on the same bus.
