| This week we have been learning about weight. Sophie brought along 3 ice-cream containers to see if we could guess which one was the heaviest! She tricked us as the smallest container had stones in it and was the heaviest. The two bigger containers weighed the same. WOW what amazing learning Sophie!! |

| We used two weights that looked the same in our balance scales. One was much heavier than the other because it was made of steel. The light one was plastic. |

| Over the last two weeks we have been swimming everyday with Lucianna and Kirsten. We have learnt lots of swimming skills and some of us can now swim 25 metres!!! It was such good fun. Thank very, very much to all of the parents who helped out. |
