Keeping Safe

We stop at the yellow line to check there are no trains coming.

We also need to listen for trains or bells and look for the red lights going.

Amber, P.B. and Belinda stopped to check it was safe to cross the railway tracks.

We can see a train coming towards us so we need to stop behind the yellow lines.

The lights go red and ring when the train comes.  We must stop.

A train is very big an heavy.  Sometimes the trains shunt , they go back to get their load.

We cannot cross until the train is gone, the red lights are off and the bells are not going.  We then check it is safe and cross.

We also must make sure the road is safe to cross and no cars are coming.
