Toast

Today when we had breakfast the crust got a little too brown in the toaster.  Next the smoke alarm set the siren off.  Everyone at school knew what to do and lined up on th netball courts.  The Edendale fire siren went and then the fire engine arrived at school very quickly.  There was no fire but the firemen still checked.  We think the Edendale Fire Brigade do a great job in our community.  Thank you very much.

Healthy Lunchbox Challenge

The Apple A Day group from Team Kahu visited us today to check out our lunch boxes.

They asked us what we had for lunch.

-  dairy

Maia and Lucy are in the Apple A Day Team and have been learning about how to be a healthy person and eat healthy food.  They learnt about food groups we should choose our foods from.

Ordering Teddy Bears

Today we brought along our teddy bears to school.

We ordered our bears smallest to biggest.

Andrei had the biggest teddy bear called Franklin.

Molly had the smallest teddy bear called Snowflake.  

We had lots of very special bears.

Clever Kea, Rosie our dog and PB decided to join us for our Teddy Bears Picnic today.
