Visitors to Team Kea

Today we welcomed Zoe, Archie, Briana, Diesel, Lucy and Rebecca to Team Kea.

Lucy took Paddington Bear home yesterday.

PB went in a special suitcase with Lucy and Joshua's PB.

PB also helped unload the firewood.  He also loved going in the car.

Today we made number patterns with our fingers, tens frames and a dice.

Briana and Zoe are doing a counting puzzle.

Jelly and Ice cream

Mikaela brought along a packet of jelly for the j table, our letter of the week.

We tipped the solid jelly crystals into a bowl.

Next we added 2 cups of water.

We stirred in the water.  We then had a liquid.

When it was mixed we let it set in the fridge.

J for jelly and Jenny.  The jelly is back to a solid state!

Yummy, we ate the jelly with some ice cream!  

Amber was also lucky to have some with us.

Number patterns

Today we have been making number patterns with counters on a tens frame, a dice and our fingers.

Daffodil Day

Today we had mufti Day to raise money for Ronald McDonald House at Southland Hospital.  

We also had some big children help us make daffodils which we have on our window.  Team Kiwi also joined us to make daffodils which were very colourful.

Letter of the week

E is this weeks letter of the week.

Morgan brought an 8. 

Ethan brought earmuffs.

Meg brought an elephant and earth. 

Kadence brought an elephant and a sign with e words.

Mikaela brought an envelope. 

Zoe and Archie

Today Zoe and Archie visited Team Kea at Edendale School.  

They are 4 but soon they will both have a birthday and be 5 years old and come to school every day.  

It is really cool to have them in our class.

Ordering Numbers

Morgan and Riley used a numberline to help them order numbers 1-20.

We helped each other to put the number puzzle pieces together so we could put them in order. 

Claudia helped Nadine put her 0-10 hand numbers in order.

Shapes and position

I made a flower with triangles, a diamond and a hexagon.

It is under hexagons, squares and triangles.
