The Book Bus

Today we visited Laureen at the Book Bus.  The Book Bus came to school. Jessica got out Peppa's First Glasses and Peppa's Big Race.  The book bus wobbles a bit!  We got a special bag for our books.  There are all kinds of books in the bus.

Hokey Pokey Ice-cream

Today we ate hokey pokey ice-cream.  It was yummy and delicious.  Mrs R made us each an ice-cream in a cone.  Mr McKenzie had an ice-cream with us.  The ice-cream was cold and crunchy.  We are learning about Kiwiana.

Celebration Time

Team Kea shared their pohutukawa artwork at Celebration Time today.  Hudson is our MVP as he displays our learning value of persistence.  Arash shared his writing about spring and Jack shared a library book.

Frogs

Skipping

Today we did some skipping at fitness time.  We liked skipping, it was fun.  We used the short ropes.  Next time we will use the long ropes.

Tadpoles

Today Kerry brought some tadpoles to our classroom.  

The tadpoles have tails.  The tail gets smaller and smaller and it disappears then the tadpole grows into a frog.
